English Teacher – Secondary School (Bolton)
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-time
Salary: MPS/UPS – Paid to scale
We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of English to join a supportive secondary school in Bolton from September 2026 on a full-time basis.
The Role
- Teaching English across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential)
- Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons
- Assessing and tracking pupil progress
- Contributing positively to the English department and wider school community
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Secondary English specialism
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Passion for English and commitment to student achievement
- ECTs and experienced teachers welcome to apply
