English SEN Tutor (1:1 Tuition) – Nottingham

Are you a passionate Secondary English Tutor looking to make a real difference? Deliver 1:1 English tuition across Nottinghamshire, supporting secondary-aged students with SEND and additional learning needs while building confidence and academic progress.

About the Role

As an English Tutor, you will:

  • Plan lessons to meet individual needs and EHCP targets
  • Deliver personalised 1:1 secondary-level English sessions
  • Adapt lessons to meet individual and SEND learning needs
  • Support academic progress, confidence, and engagement
  • Build positive, supportive relationships with students

  • Have experience teaching or tutoring Secondary English, including working with students with SEND
  • Are confident adapting teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
