English Graduate Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic English Graduate Teaching Assistant to join one of our schools in the Cambridge area. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the English department in delivering high-quality education to students.

The ideal candidate:

• A degree in English or a related subject.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A passion for teaching and working with young people.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
• Previous experience working in a school setting is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting teachers in planning and delivering lessons, grading papers, and providing feedback to students.
• Assisting with extracurricular activities such as writing clubs.
• Provide support and guidance to students. 
• Assisting the teacher in class helping them manage behaviour of students.
• Have a strong understanding of safeguarding procedures.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
