Education Graduate - Primary School Support Assistant
Location: CF24, Cardiff
Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday
Pay: Weekly Pay through Teaching Personnel

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting an enthusiastic and motivated Education Graduate to join a welcoming and supportive 2-form entry primary school in the CF24 area of Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates considering a career in teaching, educational psychology, or wider education support roles.
Working full-time, Monday to Friday, you will support pupils across the primary age range, helping them to achieve their full potential through targeted interventions and classroom support.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver targeted literacy and numeracy interventions to small groups of pupils.
- Provide 1:1 support for children who require additional assistance with their learning.
- Support the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom activities.
- Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
- Help create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
- Encourage pupil confidence, participation, and independence.
- Support children with varying learning needs and abilities.
- Maintain safeguarding and behaviour management standards in line with school policies.
Ideal Candidate
- Holds a degree in Education or a related subject.
- Passionate about supporting children's learning and development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive, proactive, and adaptable approach.
- Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential.
- Considering a future career in teaching or education.
