Bank Staff – ECTs & QTS Graduates Required

Start Date: September 2026

Pay Rate: £125 – £150 per day (dependent on experience and role)

Are you an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or a recent graduate with QTS looking to gain valuable classroom experience across a variety of schools?

We are currently recruiting Bank Staff Teachers to support a range of primary schools across Liverpool in preparation for September starts.

Locations

We have opportunities in multiple areas, including:

  • Speke
  • Wavertree
  • Prescot
  • Kirkby
  • Tuebrook

Our partner schools are based in a range of communities, offering diverse and rewarding teaching experiences.

Year Groups

Positions are available across:

  • EYFS
  • KS1
  • KS2

This is an excellent opportunity to build confidence, develop your teaching practice, and explore different school environments before committing to a long-term role.

 

The Roles

As part of our bank staff, you will:

  • Deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Step into a variety of classroom environments with confidence
  • Provide day-to-day, short-term, and potential long-term cover
  • Build relationships across multiple schools
  • Gain invaluable experience to support your long-term career goals

This is an ideal route for ECTs to develop their teaching practice, as well as for graduates looking to gain consistent classroom exposure.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • ECTs and newly qualified teachers are strongly encouraged to apply
  • A positive, proactive, and flexible approach
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting pupils’ learning and development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
