Early Career Teachers (ECTs) – Flexible Teaching Opportunities
Location: Blackburn
Start Date: September
Pay: From £120 per day
Are you an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to gain valuable classroom experience and build your confidence across a variety of school settings?
We are working with a number of reputable teaching agencies in Blackburn who are seeking motivated and adaptable ECTs to work on a supply basis from September. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your teaching skills while enjoying flexibility and a great work-life balance.
The Role
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of primary year groups, from EYFS to Year 6
- Cover classes in different school settings across Blackburn
- Maintain a positive and engaging learning environment
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Adapt quickly to new classrooms and build rapport with pupils and staff
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending QTS
- ECTs are encouraged to apply
- Strong classroom management skills (or willingness to develop)
- Flexible, reliable, and proactive attitude
- Passion for teaching and supporting children’s learning
- Ability to quickly adapt to different school environments

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
