Are you an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to gain valuable classroom experience and build your confidence across a variety of school settings?

We are working with a number of reputable teaching agencies in Blackburn who are seeking motivated and adaptable ECTs to work on a supply basis from September. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your teaching skills while enjoying flexibility and a great work-life balance.

The Role

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of primary year groups, from EYFS to Year 6
• Cover classes in different school settings across Blackburn
• Maintain a positive and engaging learning environment
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
• Adapt quickly to new classrooms and build rapport with pupils and staff

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending QTS
• ECTs are encouraged to apply
• Strong classroom management skills (or willingness to develop)
• Flexible, reliable, and proactive attitude
• Passion for teaching and supporting children’s learning
• Ability to quickly adapt to different school environments

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
