Teaching Personnel are currently in partnership with a school who are seeking Learning Support Assistants/Teaching Assistants for their EYFS classes.
Are you a committed individual who stives to create and foster an inclusive and engaging learning environment for all students?
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the teaching and learning process within our school. Working closely with teachers and other staff members, you will assist in the implementation of tailored educational programs, providing additional support to students with diverse learning needs.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing one-to-one or small group support to students.
- Assisting with the preparation of teaching resources and materials.
- Support classroom management and use excellent behaviour management strategies.
- Encourage and motivate all children to engage within their learning.
- Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to assess student progress and development.
Requirements:
- Enhanced Child Only DBS, on the update service (or willingness to apply for a DBS check)
- Previous experience working with children or young people, ideally within an educational setting.
- A passion for supporting the learning and development of children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Relevant qualifications or training (such as, CACHE Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification) desirable, but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
