What You’ll Be Doing

Every day in EYFS is an adventure — and you’ll be right at the heart of it! You will:

• Create magical, play‑based learning that inspires curiosity and joy
• Build a nurturing, inclusive classroom where every child feels safe and seen
• Deliver the EYFS framework in fun, imaginative and meaningful ways
• Capture progress through observations, explorations and “wow!” moments
• Champion ALL children — from the quiet thinkers to the big characters
• Work closely with supportive staff, families and a welcoming Gateshead school community
• Bring positivity, patience and a spark of early years magic to each day

What You’ll Need

You’ll be a brilliant fit if you:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have experience in an EYFS setting
• Understand the EYFS curriculum confidently
• Have an up‑to‑date Paediatric First Aid certificate (or can renew before starting)
• Are nurturing, enthusiastic and genuinely passionate about early years
• Communicate clearly and warmly with children, parents and staff
• Hold (or can obtain) an enhanced DBS
• Are ready to jump straight in and start ASAP
