EYFS Teacher – Darlington
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full‑Time
Location: Darlington & surrounding areas

What You’ll Be Doing:
As an EYFS Teacher, you will:
- Create exciting, play‑based learning opportunities that spark curiosity
- Deliver high‑quality teaching following the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
- Build a safe, caring and inclusive classroom where every child feels valued
- Monitor progress through observations and assessments
- Support children of all abilities, including those with SEND
- Work closely with support staff, parents and the wider school community
- Bring positivity, patience and passion to the very start of a child’s learning journey
What You’ll Need:
We’d love to hear from you if you:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have recent EYFS classroom experience
- Know the EYFS curriculum inside‑out
- Hold an up‑to‑date Paediatric First Aid certificate (or be willing to update this prior to starting)
- Are creative, nurturing and confident in early years routines
- Communicate warmly and clearly with children, staff and families
- Hold (or are willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS check
- Are available to start as soon as possible

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
