Early Years Newly Qualified Teachers (NQT'S) needed in September 2020!

 

Teaching Personnel is working with a school in Slough looking to recruit 2-3 NQT’s for the new academic year. This role will involve full training and support from the school and from Teaching Personnel. This is a fantastic opportunity to kick start your Teaching career in a well established school surrounded by knowlegdable and highly skilled Early Years Practitioners.

Teaching Personnel are offering fantastic free online training courses for all new NQT’s this academic year. Once you have secured your role within the school Teaching Personnel will provide the following 6 online courses:

  • Pedagogy and Practices – giving you the skills to help pupils progress
  • Behaviour – allowing you to learn how to manage behaviour difficulties
  • Curriculum – Effective schemes to help you deliver the national curriculum
  • Professional Behaviour – Understanding your responsibility to the wider school community
  • Assessment- providing you with methods to help pupils achieve

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Completed relevant qualifications – Batchelor of Education (Bed), BA/BSc with QTS, Degree in Teaching training, PGCE or SCITT.
  • Confident in workign with early years pupils 
  • Some understanding of Special Educational Needs. As there will be a small number of students with additional needs or undergoing assesments for SEND. These students will be assigned a one to one support where needed.
  • Special Educational Needs experience can come from work placements in mainstream/SEN schools or from modules studied during qualifying with a degree
  • Keen to take on further development and training in the Early Year sector 
  • Genuine passion to kick start a career as an Early Years Teacher and make real difference in young people lives

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
