Day Rate: £150 - £200 (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Are you a dedicated EYFS specialist with a passion for early childhood education?

A welcoming and community-driven primary school in Luton is looking to appoint an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Class Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This full-time post is for one term initially, with the possibility of extension into the new year.

The school fosters a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere where every child is encouraged to explore, question, and develop their independence from day one. You’ll be joining a strong Early Years team who work collaboratively to create rich learning experiences for all children.

You will be responsible for leading a Reception class and delivering a child-centred, creative curriculum that supports all aspects of the EYFS framework.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons tailored to the EYFS curriculum
• Build a stimulating and caring classroom environment that supports all learners
• Assess and track pupil development through observation and record keeping
• Develop positive relationships with families and contribute to wider school life
• Promote excellent behaviour, wellbeing, and safeguarding practices

What you’ll need:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Proven EYFS teaching experience, ideally in a Reception class
• Strong understanding of the Early Years curriculum and pedagogy
• Enthusiasm, creativity, and a nurturing teaching approach
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
