Contract Type: Full Time (Term-Time, Long-Term with Potential Extension)
Day Rate: £150 - £200 (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Are you a dedicated EYFS specialist with a passion for early childhood education?
A welcoming and community-driven primary school in Luton is looking to appoint an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Class Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This full-time post is for one term initially, with the possibility of extension into the new year.
The school fosters a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere where every child is encouraged to explore, question, and develop their independence from day one. You’ll be joining a strong Early Years team who work collaboratively to create rich learning experiences for all children.
You will be responsible for leading a Reception class and delivering a child-centred, creative curriculum that supports all aspects of the EYFS framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons tailored to the EYFS curriculum
- Build a stimulating and caring classroom environment that supports all learners
- Assess and track pupil development through observation and record keeping
- Develop positive relationships with families and contribute to wider school life
- Promote excellent behaviour, wellbeing, and safeguarding practices
What you’ll need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven EYFS teaching experience, ideally in a Reception class
- Strong understanding of the Early Years curriculum and pedagogy
- Enthusiasm, creativity, and a nurturing teaching approach
- Strong teamwork and communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
