Are you a passionate and ambitious Early Career Teacher (ECT) ready to take the next step in your teaching journey? We are seeking enthusiastic ECTs to work full-time across a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools throughout Wakefield.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience, develop your teaching practice, and build confidence in a variety of school settings. You'll have the chance to make a genuine impact on pupils' learning while receiving ongoing support to help you flourish in your early teaching career.

Your Responsibilities

As an Early Career Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging, creative, and inspiring lessons
• Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Follow and implement the National Curriculum effectively
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of all learners
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support pupil achievement

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

• Hold or be working towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Be an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or recently qualified teacher
• Have a good understanding of the Primary National Curriculum
• Be committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning
• Demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills
• Have a passion for helping children reach their full potential
• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

A First Aid qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
