Music/Drama Teacher needed for September

A mainstream secondary school in Slough are currently looking for a Music/Drama teacher to join them for the next academic year (September 2024). This is a permanent full-time role with successful educators taking on full teacher responsibilities including planning and marking.

The school are looking for someone who looks to embody their ethos and reflect it within their teaching. The school look to create an environment which enable students to delve into their subjects subsequently creating an inquisitive mindset in their pupils.

Teaching Personnel have an outstanding reputation for training and developing colleagues. Therefore, applications are welcome from ECTs as well as experienced teachers. 

Requirements for the role:

  • Hold QTS/ECT status in the UK or have equivalent qualifications.
  • Have experience teaching either Music/Drama up to GCSE.
  • Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
  • Have excellent communication and classroom management.
  • The ability to provide two references from your most recent employers
  • Have an Enhanced ‘Child Only’ DBS registered with the Update Service
  • Residing in the UK to comply with DBS requirements

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
