Design Technology Graduate – Trainee Graduate Teaching Assistant
Location: Secondary School – UK
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-Time
Are you a Design Technology graduate eager to inspire the next generation of creative learners?
An Outstanding secondary school is seeking a dedicated Design Technology Graduate to work as a Trainee Graduate Teaching Assistant from September 2026.
Key Duties
- Supporting DT lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Assisting students with practical and theory-based tasks
- Supporting workshop activities and classroom organisation
- Encouraging creativity, problem-solving, and engagement
- Providing intervention support where required
Candidate Profile
- UK degree in Design Technology, Product Design, Engineering, or related subject
- Passion for working with young people
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Positive and adaptable approach
- Interest in pursuing teacher training

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
