Design and Technology Teacher – Poole
Full-Time | Start Date: ASAP

A vibrant and inclusive mainstream secondary school in Poole is seeking a passionate and skilled Design and Technology Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis, starting as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who enjoys bringing creativity and innovation into the classroom.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and practical lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, encouraging students to develop their design thinking, problem-solving, and technical skills. You will join a well-resourced department that values hands-on learning and supports staff in delivering a varied and exciting curriculum.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
  • Have experience teaching Design and Technology at KS3 and KS4
  • Be confident in delivering lessons across areas such as Product Design, Resistant Materials, or Graphics
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm, creativity, and a commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
