Job Title: Design and Technology Teacher

Location: Durham

Start Date: January 2025

Contract: Part-Time

Salary- £130-£251 a day (paid to scale from day 1)

Are you a Design and Technology Teacher with an enthusiasm for learning and inspiring the future generation? Teaching personnel is seeking skilled and passionate DT teachers to join our network- offering their skills to a secondary school based in Durham.

About the role

  • Delivering consistent, high quality DT lessons to students across KS3 and KS4
  • Creating a positive and motivating classroom environment, that encourages progress and passion.

Desirable candidates will have:

  • Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or surrounding relevant teaching qualifications
  • Previous experience teaching Design and Technology
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to build rapport with students and teachers
  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding, classroom management and student behaviour

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
