Day to day supply teacher
Job description
A position for a day-to-day Supply Teacher has become available within the Stockport area, to start after February half term.
The role in hand is a flexible position that allows for you to choose the days you’re available to work, to fit around your lifestyle.
This can be an excellent opportunity for a Teacher whose just recently qualified, or has years of experience, to develop their passion and find the right school for them.
The candidate will be tasked with carrying out pre planned lessons to a range of students from years 7 – 11, through a range of subjects. therefore, its essential that the teacher is able to demonstrate strong behaviour management skills, along with providing the extra support and attention where required and continue to develop the pupils to the desired target levels.
The ideal candidate:
- Holds a QTS certificate or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience working in a secondary school setting. (Ideal but no essential)
- Punctual and positive attitude towards students.
- Strong communication skills.
The successful applicant will receive:
- £550 - £700 (dependant on experience).

Teaching Personnel are committed to keeping a high level of safeguarding for the school that we are partnered with, so before starting work its essential that the candidate has a full child work force DBS certificate. (This can be obtained through Teaching Personnel if you don’t currently own one).
We will also require 2 work-based references dating back 2 years and then we should hopefully be able to proceed.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
