Job description

Are you an experienced Cover Supervisor with strong classroom management skills?
We’re looking for a confident and reliable professional to join a supportive secondary school in Rochdale. This is a full-time maternity cover role, running until July, with an immediate start for the right candidate.

The Role:

  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects

  • Maintain high standards of behaviour in the classroom

  • Support students with their learning and ensure lessons run smoothly

  • Uphold school policies and routines

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor (or similar classroom-based role)

  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Ability to engage and motivate students

  • Flexibility, reliability, and a proactive attitude

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
