Cover Supervisor (Secondary)

Teaching Personnel is looking to appoint confident and adaptable Cover Supervisors to work within Secondary Schools across North Yorkshire. We are looking for both full-time and part-time candidates who are available to start ASAP. These temporary positions offer a competitive daily rate of £105 – £130 per day, paid weekly on a PAYE basis.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Experience working with young people in an educational, coaching, youth work or similar setting.
• A degree qualification is desirable but not essential.
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
• A clear DBS check (or willingness to apply for one). If you don’t have a DBS, we can support with this.

• Someone who is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• A confident individual who can manage a classroom independently and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Someone who can follow lesson plans and ensure students remain engaged with pre-set work.
• Someone who can build positive and professional relationships with staff and pupils.
• Be approachable, calm and professional.
• Someone who is flexible, reliable and adaptable to different school environments.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
