Cover Supervisor (KS3 & KS4)

 

Location: Littlehampton, West Sussex

Salary: £95 - £130

Start Date: Immediate / Flexible

 

A mixed Chirstian Secondary School and Sixth Form located in Littlehampton, West Sussex is seeking a confident and dedicated Cover Supervisor to join their team!

This role is perfect for someone wanting to gain valuable classroom experience or is considering a future career in teaching!

 

The Role

You will be responsible for supervising classes of students aged 11-16 years old during teacher absences, ensuring learning continues productively. You will deliver pre-planned lessons, manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies, and maintain a focused and effective learning environment. This role may also require providing additional support to students with special educational needs.

 

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience working with secondary aged students
  • SEN experience / ability to support additional needs
  • Confident and adaptable in a classroom setting
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students
  • Genuine enthusiasm for supporting young people

 

Working Hours / Benefits

  • Full Time, Monday-Friday
  • Term-Time Only
  • 12.07% Holiday Pay
