Cover supervisors needed to work in secondary schools in Stockport and Tameside. If you are a graduate looking to pursue a career in teaching and would like to gain school based experience prior to this then cover supervising is the perfect job role.

Cover supervisors take on the role of absent teachers for the day delivering pre set lessons, ensuring students remain on task completing set work adhering by each schools behaviour policy. If you are currently working in coaching, youth work, health and social care then there are plenty of transferable skills you can utilise for the cover supervisor role.

If you are located in the areas of Tameside and Stockport we currently work with multiple schools that are looking for graduates and aspiring teachers to work as cover supervisors.

Highlights of the cover supervisor role;

  • Paid on a weekly basis through our PAYE scheme
  • Rates between GBP275-GBP350 per week

Essential criteria for the cover supervisor role;

  • A University degree or relevant qualifications
  • Passion for working with young people and a desire to go onto teacher training
  • Flexible working attitude
  • Work based or educational references
  • Application for a fully enhanced DBS certificate

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
