What Will the Role Involve?

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining continuity of learning during teacher absences and ensuring pupils remain engaged and focused throughout the school day.

• Supervising classes using pre-prepared lesson materials
• Managing classroom behaviour positively and effectively
• Supporting pupils with additional educational needs
• Encouraging participation and engagement
• Promoting a safe and respectful learning atmosphere
• Liaising with teaching and pastoral teams
• Reporting on lesson outcomes and pupil engagement
• Contributing to the wider school community

• Have experience working with children or young people
• Are confident leading groups and managing behaviour
• Possess strong communication skills
• Can adapt quickly to different situations
• Demonstrate resilience and professionalism
• Have a genuine interest in education and pupil development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
