Pay: £100–£120 per day (dependent on experience)

Teaching Personnel Sheffield is recruiting Cover Supervisors to work across a number of secondary schools in Worksop. We are particularly keen to hear from candidates based in Worksop, Carlton-in-Lindrick, Gateford, Shireoaks, Whitwell, Creswell, Retford, Langold, Rhodesia, or the surrounding areas.

The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise lessons during teacher absence, ensuring students remain engaged with the work set by teaching staff while maintaining a positive learning environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering pre-set lesson materials
- Supervising classes across a variety of subjects
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively
- Supporting students to remain focused and engaged
- Providing feedback to teaching staff after lessons
- Promoting a safe and productive classroom environment
No lesson planning or marking is required.
Who We're Looking For
We welcome applications from candidates who:
- Live in Worksop or within a 5–10 mile radius
- Have previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or working with young people
- Hold a UK-recognised degree or relevant transferable experience
- Are confident managing groups of secondary-aged students
- Have excellent communication and organisational skills
- Are reliable, adaptable, and professional
Experience in schools, tutoring, coaching, mentoring, youth work, customer service, or leadership roles is desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
