Cover Supervisor – Worksop

Salary: £90 - £110 per day
Teaching Personnel is seeking a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor to work across several partner secondary schools in the Worksop area. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain classroom experience and support students in a structured school environment.
This role is ideal for aspiring teachers, graduates, or those with experience working with young people who want to build their skills across a variety of school settings.
About the Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

Supervise classes during the absence of the regular teacher.

Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects.

Ensure pupils remain engaged and on task.

Manage behaviour in line with school policies.
-
Provide basic support and answer questions where appropriate.
-
Maintain a safe and positive learning environment.

Assist with break or lunchtime supervision if required.
About You
We are looking for a Cover Supervisor who:
-
Has experience working with young people.
-
Is confident managing groups of students.
-
Has strong communication and organisational skills.
-
Is adaptable, reliable, and calm under pressure.
-
Is committed to safeguarding and student welfare.
-
Holds, or is willing to apply for, an enhanced DBS check.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
