Job description

Experienced Cover Supervisors – Tonbridge School

We are seeking reliable and experienced Cover Supervisors to join a school in Tonbridge. This role involves supervising classes, supporting teaching staff, and ensuring that learning continues smoothly in the absence of regular teachers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage classes across various year groups

  • Support teaching staff in delivering lesson plans

  • Maintain a positive and safe learning environment, including managing challenging behavior

  • Provide feedback on student progress and classroom activities

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a school or educational setting

  • Ability to manage challenging behavior confidently and effectively

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • Driving license is highly desirable to allow flexibility across sites

This is a rewarding opportunity for teaching personnel who enjoy working with young people and can adapt to a dynamic classroom environment.

Location: Tonbridge
Hours: Flexible, as cover is required across the school day

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
