Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a Secondary school in the Taunton area to recruit a confident and motivate Cover Supervisor.

This role is perfect for a qualified teacher seeking a position with less planning and marking responsibility, or for an Early Careers Teacher (ECT) looking to build classroom experience in a supportive environment.

You’ll be responsible for supervising classes during teacher absences, delivering pre-set lessons, maintaining a positive learning atmosphere, and supporting students across a range of subjects.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with young people or within a classroom setting

  • Qualified Teacher (QTS/QTLS) or an aspiring ECT welcome

  • Excellent communication and behaviour management skills

  • Flexibility, enthusiasm, and a proactive approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
