Job Description:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will manage a classroom in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring students remain engaged with pre-set work and maintain a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons to students across KS3 and KS4

  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

  • Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment

  • Support students with their learning as required

Requirements:

  • A strong interest in education – ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced classroom staff

  • Excellent communication and behaviour management skills

  • Flexibility to work across multiple schools in South Yorkshire

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)

We are recruiting Cover Supervisors for schools in:

  • Sheffield

  • Rotherham

  • Barnsley

  • Doncaster
