A welcoming secondary school in Shaftesbury is seeking a confident and motivated Cover Supervisor to join their team as soon as possible.

This role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced teaching assistants, or anyone with experience working with young people. You will supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain engaged and on task.

The Role:

• Supervise whole classes across a range of subjects
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials
• Maintain a positive and productive learning environment
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Support students with their learning where required

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Confidence managing groups of young people
• Ability to work independently and use initiative
• Previous school-based experience is desirable but not essential
