Teaching Personnel is seeking an organised, reliable, and professional Cover Supervisor to support a range of secondary schools in the Runcorn area. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising classes during the short‑term absence of teaching staff, ensuring continuity of learning and maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials to secondary-aged pupils.
• Maintain good order and ensure pupils remain on task throughout lessons.
• Implement school behaviour and safeguarding policies consistently.
• Provide support to pupils as required to facilitate their engagement and participation.
• Liaise with teaching staff and senior leaders to provide feedback on lesson delivery and pupil conduct.

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience working within a secondary school environment.
• Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
• Strong communication, behaviour management, and organisational skills.
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and adaptable in a classroom setting.
