Cover Supervisors Needed – Secondary Schools Across BB4, Lancashire

Are you looking for a rewarding role in education? Teaching Personnel is seeking enthusiastic, confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to work in a range of mainstream secondary schools across the BB4 area of Lancashire from September 2026.

Whether you're looking for full-time, part-time or flexible ad-hoc work, we have opportunities to suit your availability and career goals.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

  • Deliver pre-set lesson plans in the absence of the class teacher.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Support students in completing set work.
  • Gain valuable experience within secondary education settings.
  • Work across a variety of subjects and year groups.

We Are Looking For:

  • Graduates considering a career in teaching.
  • Experienced Cover Supervisors, Teaching Assistants or Youth Workers.
  • Individuals with strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Confident and adaptable candidates who enjoy working with young people.
  • Applicants with experience working with children or young people (preferred but not essential).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
