Cover Supervisor – Near Maidstone

 

We are recruiting a reliable Cover Supervisor to work in a Secondary School near Maidstone.
This Cover Supervisor role focuses on General Cover across a range of subjects.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will deliver pre-set work and maintain classroom order.
The school is looking for a confident Cover Supervisor who can manage behaviour effectively.
Previous experience working as a Cover Supervisor in a secondary setting is desirable.
This Cover Supervisor position is ideal for someone seeking consistent General Cover.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervising classes during the absence of the regular teacher

  • Delivering pre-prepared lesson materials

  • Ensuring students remain on task and engaged

  • Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies

  • Supporting students with their work where appropriate

  • Upholding safeguarding and health & safety procedures

 

A Cover Supervisor in this role will support students across KS3 and KS4.
The successful Cover Supervisor will follow school policies and safeguarding procedures.
This Cover Supervisor role is based within a well-organised Secondary School.
Pay for this Cover Supervisor position is £110 – £130 per day, depending on experience.
