Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting Unqualified Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in Bristol, Bath, South Gloucestershire or North Somerset. Whether you're looking for a flexible role to fit around your schedule or seeking a long-term position, we want to hear from you!

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-set work to students in the absence of their regular teacher. You will manage classroom behaviour, keep pupils on task, and ensure a positive learning environment is maintained.

This is a fantastic opportunity if you:

  • Are considering a career in teaching and want to build school experience
  • Want flexible work while studying or working part-time
  • Are looking for a stable role in education without needing Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Desirable Experience (Not Essential):

  • Experience working with children or young people (e.g., tutoring, youth work, sports coaching, mentoring, camp leading)
  • Background in education, childcare, or a related field
  • Confident classroom presence and strong communication skills
  • Ability to manage behaviour and follow school policies
  • Degree or equivalent (beneficial, but not required)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
