Part-Time Cover Supervisor – Flexible Hours – Leyland | Start September 2025

Are you confident, adaptable, and passionate about supporting students' learning? A thriving secondary school in Leyland is seeking a part-time, flexible Cover Supervisor to join their team from September 2025.

Location: Leyland
Start Date: September 2025
⏰ Hours: Part-time, flexible (weekdays during term time)
Contract: Ongoing, with the potential for long-term placement

About the Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will step into classrooms in the absence of the teacher, delivering pre-set work and maintaining a positive learning environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and is looking for flexible, term-time work.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supervising classes across a range of subjects

  • Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring work is completed

  • Supporting students as needed and reporting back to teaching staff

Ideal Candidate:

  • Has experience working with secondary-aged students (desirable but not essential)

  • Is confident managing a classroom environment

  • Has excellent communication and organisation skills

  • Is flexible, reliable, and enthusiastic

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
