Cover Supervisor – Crediton
Teaching Personnel

Teaching Personnel is working with secondary schools in the Crediton area to recruit confident and reliable Cover Supervisors. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with young people and are looking to gain classroom experience, whether you are an aspiring teacher, an ECT seeking additional experience, or an experienced educator looking for a flexible role.

The Role:

  • Supervising classes during teacher absences using pre-set lesson plans

  • Maintaining a positive learning environment and managing classroom behaviour

  • Supporting pupils to stay engaged and on task

  • Working across a range of subjects and year groups

  • Full-time and part-time opportunities available

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working with young people (school-based experience desirable)

  • Is confident managing a classroom and maintaining expectations

  • Is adaptable, organised, and reliable

  • Can build positive relationships quickly with pupils and staff

  • Holds, or is willing to obtain, an Enhanced Child DBS

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
