Cover Supervisor- Coventry Based Secondary School- CV7- Full Time - ASAP Start

We have an exciting opportunity at one of our partner mainstream secondary schools based in Coventry (CV7) for a confident and experienced cover supervisor to work on a full time basis.

The school are seeking an individual who has had previous experience as a cover supervisor and is capable of stepping up in the absence of the class teachers to provide continuity of learning and consistency for the pupils!

 

Ideal Person Specification

Recent, relevant experience working as a cover supervisor in a UK secondary school

Confident and reliable individual

Strong behaviour management techniques and classroom presence

Confident and experienced following pre-set lesson plans 

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

 

Job Role/Expectations

Follow pre-set lesson plans, delivering engaging lessons to a range of year groups and subjects

Follow schools policies and procedures at all times

Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring pupils are on task

Create a positive, safe, inclusive learning environment

Maintain committed to promoting safeguarding and the wellbeing of all pupils
