Job description

Flexible Cover Supervisor – Secondary Schools (Chorley)

Start Date: February
Location: Chorley and surrounding areas
Contract: Day-to-day, flexible cover

Are you passionate about education and looking for a role that offers flexibility? We are seeking Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in Chorley, providing classroom supervision and support when teachers are absent.

What you’ll do:

  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons and maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
  • Support students with their learning and ensure a safe, productive atmosphere.

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Previous experience in education or working with young people is desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
