Cover Supervisor – Secondary Schools (Bournemouth)
Ad Hoc Supply | Immediate Start

Are you looking for flexible, school-based work that fits around your lifestyle while building valuable classroom experience? We’re working with a range of mainstream secondary schools across Bournemouth to recruit Cover Supervisors for ad hoc supply cover, with an immediate start available.

The Role

  • Delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher

  • Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment

  • Working across a variety of secondary schools in Bournemouth

  • Flexible, ad hoc supply work to suit your availability

  • Opportunities for longer-term and permanent positions

Ideal For

This role is particularly well suited to:

  • Individuals with experience as a sports coach

  • Aspiring teachers and graduates looking to gain classroom experience before starting a PGCE or teacher training

  • Dance Teachers or professionals with performance-based backgrounds

  • Anyone considering a future career in education

What We’re Looking For

  • Confident, reliable, and professional individuals

  • Strong communication and classroom presence

  • A proactive approach to behaviour management

  • A valid DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one with our support

  • Previous experience working with young people is highly desirable
