Cover Supervisor required in Blackpool

Make a positive impact on students in a secondary school setting, in this highly rewarding Cover Supervisor role based in Blackpool. This Cover Supervisor role will allow you to utilise, develop and strengthen your classroom and teaching skills in a harmonious learning environment.

About the role:

You will be covering and supervising pre-planned lessons, ensuring that classes are run efficiently whilst supporting students throughout the school day. This role is ideal for those looking to progress into a carer within education or looking to gain their PGCE/QTS.

  • Gain classroom experience working in a secondary school
  • Build and develop your teaching skills and knowledge
  • Work across KS3/4 classes, across various subjects
  • Display and strengthen teaching methods and classroom skills

Candidate specification:

  • Education experience in tutoring and/or teaching
  • Display confident classroom management and behaviour strategies
  • Good availability, being able to work under short notice
  • Be resilient, reliable and passionate about excellent within education
  • An enthusiasm for inspiring pupils to engage with their learning and development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
