Job description

COVER SUPERVISORS REQUIRED URGENTLY!

 

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for multiple cover supervisor positions across a number of our mainstream secondary schools local to the Castle Bromwich/ Chelmsley Wood areas (B36/B37.)

This role would be to work on a day-to-day or part time basis which can be flexible around your other commitments. 

 

Ideal applicant:

You must be confident and have a passion for education.

Previous experience within schools or education is essential!

Reliable and willing to commit to atleast 2 days of cover work a week

Enhanced child-only DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain one through Teaching Personnel)

 

You will be required to:

- Follow pre-set lesson plans and deliver lessons to a range of year groups/subjects

- Confidently manage classroom behaviour and maintain a strong presence within the class

- Set boundaries and expectations from minute one to ensure all students benefit from the lesson

- Communicate any issues or positives back to the main staff members within the school

 

Cover supervisors play a vital role in maintaining consistency for the pupils to ensure they have continuity in their learning and do not miss out on vital lessons!

You will be expected to be a role model and professional at all times, please ensure you dress smart/appropriately for school.

 

You will gain invaluable experience across a number of our partner schools whilst receiving a competitive rate of pay!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
