Cover Supervisor – Basingstoke (Start ASAP)

Full Time | Part Time | Flexible | Ideal for Graduates & Aspiring Teachers

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting confident, enthusiastic individuals to work as Cover Supervisors in secondary schools across Basingstoke, with immediate start dates available. This role offers flexible hours, full‑time opportunities, and a clear pathway into a long‑term career in education.

Perfect for recent graduates, aspiring teachers, gap‑year candidates, and unqualified teachers, this position provides hands‑on experience in real classrooms while offering consistent, rewarding work.


What You Will Do as a Cover Supervisor

  • Deliver pre‑prepared lessons to students in the absence of the class teacher
  • Manage behaviour confidently and maintain a productive learning atmosphere
  • Support pupils with their work and encourage participation
  • Supervise a variety of subjects across KS3 and KS4
  • Ensure continuity of learning in line with the school’s expectations
  • Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and engagement

You do not need teaching qualifications — full support and mentoring are provided.
