Cover Supervisor & Sports Support Assistant
Location: Secondary Schools across Cardiff
Hours: 08:30 – 15:30 (Term Time Only)
Pay: £110 – £120 per day

Teaching Personnel partners with welcoming secondary schools across Cardiff who are seeking enthusiastic, adaptable individuals to work as Cover Supervisors and Sports Support Assistants.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects including English, Maths, Science, Humanities, PE, DT, Art, Computing, and MFL.
- Supervise classes in the absence of the teacher, maintaining focus and positive behaviour.
- Support PE lessons, extracurricular activities, and after-school sports clubs.
- Create inclusive, engaging learning environments that support diverse learners.
- Build strong professional relationships with students, teachers, and school staff.

Person Specification
- Sports students or graduates, or individuals working towards a degree in any subject.
- A genuine interest in education, coaching, or youth development.
- Confident communicators with a proactive, adaptable approach.
- Previous coaching, leadership, or mentoring experience (desirable but not essential).
- Minimum requirement: degree-level education or currently studying towards a degree.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
