Job Title: Core Subjects Tutor

Location:

East of England, Bedfordshire, Bedford

Salary:

£25.00 - £30.00 Per hour

Job Duties:

  • Deliver high-quality tutoring sessions in core subjects such as Maths, English, and Science
  • Develop tailored lesson plans to meet the individual learning needs of students
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth
  • Encourage student engagement and participation in lessons
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progress

Required Qualifications:

  • A relevant teaching qualification
  • Demonstrated experience in tutoring or teaching core subjects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational abilities

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in tutoring or teaching core subjects

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Deep understanding of the national curriculum for core subjects
  • Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities
  • Proficiency in using educational technology and resources

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
