Job Title: Core Subjects Tutor
Location:
East of England, Bedfordshire, Bedford
Salary:
£25.00 - £30.00 Per hour
Job Duties:
- Deliver high-quality tutoring sessions in core subjects such as Maths, English, and Science
- Develop tailored lesson plans to meet the individual learning needs of students
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth
- Encourage student engagement and participation in lessons
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progress
Required Qualifications:
- A relevant teaching qualification
- Demonstrated experience in tutoring or teaching core subjects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational abilities
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in tutoring or teaching core subjects
Knowledge and Skills:
- Deep understanding of the national curriculum for core subjects
- Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities
- Proficiency in using educational technology and resources
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Education
- Experience working with students with diverse learning needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
