The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and hands-on Construction Group Tutor to join a growing vocational education team. This is a highly rewarding position, supporting young people to reconnect with learning through practical, skills-based construction education.

  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and risk management at all times
  • Act as a positive role model, encouraging resilience, confidence, and independence
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of innovative and effective vocational delivery

About You

You will be someone who is passionate about construction and equally passionate about supporting young people to succeed.

You will bring:

  • A minimum Level 1 qualification in a construction-related subject
  • Experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable adults, ideally within SEN or alternative provision
  • A creative and flexible teaching approach
  • Strong communication skills and confidence using ICT, including Google-based applications
  • A good understanding of safeguarding, data protection, and safe working practices
  • A full UK driving licence, access to a suitable vehicle, and business insurance
