Searching for an opportunity to further your teaching career? Are you seeking a school that can offer an innovative and forward thinking curriculum in which you are allowed to create and deliver educational content of your choice? 

This secondary school are searching for a practitioner who is passionate about their subject and would like to develop and expand the curriculum in order to engage and ignite passion with their pupils. At present the subject is delivered to KS3 pupils. The school have the capacity to offer KS4 Computer Science/IT at GCSE and are looking for the right teacher to be able to create an develop a suitable curriculum to further the schools plan to widen the opportunities for pupils in the subject.

This school is a 'Good' School with 'Outstanding' features according to its latest Ofsted report. IT fosters a culture of high expectations ensures that pupils and teachers alike aspire to achieve their best. Teachers want to improve their own skills in the classroom and very effectively share with each other what is working well and collaboratively identify areas for improvement. The school provides on-site support for a variety of pupils needs including an SEN team, EAL intervention staff, behaviour mentors, a gifted and talented coordinator and inclusion team to ensure it allows all students the chance to access their education.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • UK QTS or equivalent
  • Undergraduate Degree in a relevant subject
  • The ability to teach to KS4
  • A track record of providing a good education in previous roles
  • The passion to grow and expand the department

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
