Computer Science Teacher (Full-Time) - BB4 Area, Lancashire
Full-Time | January 2027 Start | Until July 2027
Teaching Personnel are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Computer Science Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive mainstream secondary school in the BB4 area of Lancashire from January 2027.
This is a full-time position initially running until July 2027, with the opportunity to make a lasting impact on pupils throughout the academic year.
The Role:
- Deliver engaging and inspiring Computer Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Support students in developing their understanding of computing, programming and digital technologies.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes achievement and engagement.
- Work collaboratively with departmental colleagues and school leadership.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Has experience teaching Computer Science within a secondary school setting.
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills.
- Is passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
- Has a current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
