Mainstream Secondary School | BB4 Area, Lancashire Temporary Contract: November 2026 - July 2027 Full-Time

A welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in the BB4 area of Lancashire is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Teacher of ICT to join their successful department from November 2026. This is a full-time temporary position running until July 2027, with the opportunity to make a real impact on students' learning and achievement.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging ICT lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students to develop their digital literacy, computational thinking, and practical technology skills. The successful candidate will join a supportive department committed to high standards of teaching and learning.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Have experience teaching ICT and/or Computing within a secondary school setting.
- Demonstrate strong classroom management skills.
- Be committed to raising achievement and supporting student progress.
- Be an enthusiastic team player with excellent communication skills.
- Have a passion for technology and innovative teaching practices.
Position Details
- Location: BB4 Area, Lancashire
- Start Date: November 2026
- Contract: Temporary until July 2027
- Hours: Full-Time
- Salary: MPS/UPS dependent on experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
