Teaching Personnel

Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher looking to make a genuine difference in the lives of young learners? Teaching Personnel is recruiting for a fantastic Primary SEN School in the Bolton area, seeking an enthusiastic teacher to join their team full-time from September.

This rewarding role involves supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Every day brings new opportunities to help children overcome barriers, celebrate achievements, and build confidence both inside and outside the classroom.

The Role

  • Deliver engaging, creative lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
  • Create an inclusive and supportive environment where every child can thrive.
  • Work closely with skilled Teaching Assistants, therapists, and families to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Adapt teaching strategies and resources to maximise pupil engagement and progress.
  • Encourage independence, communication skills, and emotional development through meaningful learning experiences.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Experience teaching children with SEN, either within a specialist or mainstream setting.
  • Strong understanding of differentiated teaching and personalised learning approaches.
  • A patient, resilient, and nurturing approach to supporting children with additional needs.
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one through Teaching Personnel).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
