SEN Primary Teacher

Bolton | Full-Time | September Start Teaching Personnel

Teaching Personnel are seeking a passionate SEN Primary Teacher to join a specialist SEN school in Bolton this September. You will support pupils with a range of complex needs, including Autism (ASC), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), communication needs, sensory processing difficulties, and associated behavioural challenges.

Working within a supportive and well-resourced setting, you will deliver engaging, personalised lessons that help pupils achieve both academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver differentiated lessons to meet individual needs.
  • Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Work closely with Teaching Assistants, therapists, and parents.
  • Monitor progress and contribute to EHCP targets and reviews.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.

Requirements

  • QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching primary-aged pupils.
  • A strong interest in SEN and inclusive education.
  • Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
  • Positive, patient, and adaptable approach.
