Job Title: Complex Needs Teaching Assistant
Location: BS10
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm
Contract: Full-time 
Agency: Teaching Personnel (on behalf of a local school)

Teaching Personnel is working closely with a welcoming and supportive local school in the BS10 area, who are seeking a Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team.

This role is ideal for someone with SEN experience who demonstrates a nurturing, caring and compassionate approach, while also having the confidence and resilience to be firm when required to promote respect, boundaries and achievement.

About the Role:

  • Supporting pupils with complex needs, all of whom are on an EHCP programme

  • Providing tailored 1:1 or small group support where required

  • Assisting pupils with learning, emotional regulation and daily routines

  • Working closely with teachers, SEN staff and external professionals

  • Creating a safe, structured and inclusive learning environment

Some pupils require additional and personalised support, so experience with SEN, autism, learning difficulties, or behavioural needs is highly desirable.
