Job description

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in the B16 area of Birmingham to recruit dedicated and experienced KS2 Primary Teachers for full-time teaching positions. Opportunities are available for both immediate starts and September 2026 placements.

The Role – Full-Time KS2 Primary Teacher

As a full-time KS2 class teacher, you will play a key role in supporting pupils through an important stage of their educational journey. Responsibilities include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils can succeed
  • Monitoring and assessing pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies where required
  • Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
  • Promoting high standards of behaviour, learning, and achievement
  • Contributing to wider school life, staff collaboration, and school improvement initiatives
  • Supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development

We Are Looking for Teachers Who:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Have recent experience teaching within Key Stage 2 in UK primary schools
  • Are seeking full-time, long-term teaching opportunities
  • Have strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Are committed to inclusive education and achieving the best outcomes for all pupils
  • Demonstrate professionalism, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude
  • Are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
